 • As temperatures start to decline, stop fertilizing and water your plans less frequently.
 
• Discard all diseased plant debris to prevent the problem from returning in the spring.

• If conditions allow, continue weeding throughout autumn to keep the appearance sharp and help prevent them from returning in the springtime.

• Don’t be afraid to plant trees and shrubs but keep them well-water so they will be prepared when the colder weather arrives.

• Protect your plants by wrapping them in burlap before the frost hits.

• Prune and rake and clear all stressed limbs, dried leaves and brush.

• Bring summer plants back indoors when temperatures reach the 50’s.
